According to recent stats 24% of Brits think they will never be able to retire.
This is compared to 19% of people who live with a partner or spouse.
40% of those not in a relationship were found to be currently unable to put money aside each month for their future, compared to 29% of those in long-term relationships.
These were some of the findings of a study by P2P loans provider Lending Works conducted with YouGov into attitudes towards retirement amoung people the UK.
